DailyRi 002: Where I'm Headed
WHERE I’VE BEEN IS NOTHING COMPARED TO WHERE I’M HEADED.
DAILYRi 002: Where I’m Headed
THIS YEAR WILL TAKE ME PLACES I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW EXISTED
& it’s also going to take me to those places i’ve been dreaming about.
as i mentioned in my first DailyRi, i released a whole lot of baggage in 2018. most of that baggage was really just self-doubt disguised as something else. now that that’s out of the way, this year will be all about creating the kind of impact that i am uniquely positioned to make.
here are 19 places i’m headed in 2019:
1- financial freedom: learning to make money, save money & plan for my future
2- intentional solitude: spending a day a week intentionally alone
3- more nos: if it doesn’t align with my longterm vision/purpose, it’s a distraction; if i won’t care about it in two years, it’s a distraction
4- more yeses: if it scares me or makes me uncomfortable, it will help me grow
5- starting a weekly podcast: creating digital space for women in my community to air out their stories & heal
6- DailyRi: every day i’ll publish a #DailyRi post detailing my #roadtorima
7- awarding a scholarship: one student will be awarded with the Lead With Grace scholarship this March
8- selling apparel: going to [finally] start selling apparel with thought provoking, positive messages
9- the #RiUP2K19: taking my body to never before seen heights through exercise & healthy eating
10- single AF: committing to being single…like actually single until i’m entirely whole
11- ultimate productivity: working smarter not harder so i can optimize my time; pouring into my strengths & delegating my weaknesses
12- just do it: healing from “perfectionist paralysis” & getting comfortable with learning along the way; “readiness” is an illusion
13- google podcasts creator program: admission to the google podcasts creator program for july-dec
14- dearborn poster child: putting my dearborn community on the map (on our terms); global awareness of dearborn & our unique experiences/stories
15- healthy sleep schedule: sleeping at a reasonable time (before midnight) and waking up by 7
16- meeting Gary Vee: having an in-person heart to heart conversation with him
17- interning at vaynermedia: landing a 2019 summer internship with VaynerMedia
18- traveling internationally: somewhere in central or south america & wherever my ross map project takes me
19- students first: continuing to find ways to work with young people because it makes me happy & will help hone my longterm vision
2019 WILL BE LIT.
but i already said that. now it’s time to get doing.
